What is promotional work?
Promotional work is all about promoting client brands through leaflet/sample distribution and on occasions promotional work involves sales prospecting, mystery shopping, modeling, or attending launches.

Who joins PromoPeople.ie?
Promo people are normally third level students looking for some flexible part-time work.

How do I join PromoPeople.ie?
From any page on the site simply click the "register" link at the top of the page. You will then be presented with a form where you can provide your details. It's that simple!

Do I have to fill out all the sections on my PromoPeople.ie profile?
While not all field are required, it is highly recommended that you provide as much information as possible in your profile, so that we know all about you and can place you in the right promotional job.

Do I have to provide a photograph when creating my PromoPeople.ie profile?
No, you will initially register your profile without a photograph, however it will benefit you greatly if you upload a photo in order to complete your profile. Remember, if you do not have a photograph in digital format that you can upload to our server, you can post one to us and we will scan & upload it for you FREE of charge. Send your photograph to Vanessa at Promopeople.ie, 26 Upper Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin 2, Ireland. Make sure you include your username, real name & email address so we can verify your identity. If you wish us to return your picture once we've scanned it, please include a stamped, addressed envelope.

 
When I sign up am I committing to anything?
No, you are only committing to do a job once you have accepted a promotional job offer.

How many hours am I expected to work?
You can work as many or as few hours as you would like.

 
What is the rate of pay?
PromoPeople.ie offer very competitive rates of pay. Rates vary depending on the type, location and duration of the promotion.

 
What happens once I've posted my profile?
Your profile will be added to our database and you will be notified of any upcoming promotions. If you accept a job offer a member of staff will phone you to confirm. A member of staff may also phone you before your acceptance if they believe that you are particularly suited to the position.

 
Will other members be able to view any of the information I provide in my profile?
No, the information you have provided us with can only be seen by PromoPeople.ie staff members.

 
How can I find out about what job vacancies there are available?
Once your profile is complete any suitable job vacancies will be sent to your message centre and/or to your personal email account.

 
If I decline a lot of the jobs you have offered me will this go against me?
No, we will still contact you regarding future promotional job opportunities, however we are more likely to give work to a staff member who has shown more interest in past jobs offered.

 
How should I notify you when I am doing exams or when I am on holidays and temporarily unavailable to work?
You can suspend your profile from your control panel for the period for which you are unavailable and reactivate it once you become available again.

 
If I have agreed to do a promotion, but then I become unavailable how do I let you know?
If you have committed to a particular promotional job and become unavailable, it is extremely important that you notify a member of staff immediately by phoning the office on +353 (0)1 662 8585. We require at least 24 hours notice so that we may find another promotional crew member to replace you.

 
Can I delete my profile when I've found a new job or if I am no longer interested in doing promotional work?
You can just remove your profile from our database at any time through your control panel. Note, though, this will permanently delete your profile from our database and you should only do so if you are certain you would no longer wish to receive job offers from us.

 
What do I do if I forget my PromoPeople.ie password and/or username?
In the event that you forget your PromoPeople.ie login details you can request that your username be sent to you or choose a new password using this page which is also linked to beneath the login form.

 
What is an activation code/link?
In order to verify your identity and activate your profile, you will need to follow the instructions sent to you in your registration e-mail.

 
What if I don't receive my PromoPeople.ie activation link?
If you have not received your registration mail please check your junk or spam mail folder. Some e-mail providers filter out all incoming e-mails which do not originate from an address in your address book. If your registration mail is not in your junk mail folder, please ensure you can receive e-mail from PromoPeople.ie then log in to the site to see details on how you can resend your registration mail.

 
How can I view the information in my PromoPeople.ie profile?
You can view your own details by editing the various sections of your profile from your control panel.

 
Can I change or add to the information in my PromoPeople.ie profile?
You can add, remove and modify the information in your PromoPeople.ie profile at any time by following the relevant links in your control panel.
